Dr. Jonathan Bernardini

Medical Director and Owner

Dr. Bernardini is a Harvard-trained, triple board-certified physician with over 13 years of experience performing advanced, minimally invasive surgical procedures. He received his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey in 1999. Following completion of his surgical training in general surgery at the University of California Davis Medical Center and David Grant US Air Force Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base, California, he served as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force in the Republic of Korea, Italy, and numerous deployments around the world. After leaving the Air Force, Dr. Bernardini completed a residency in anesthesiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, followed by a fellowship in interventional pain management at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas. Along with his partners, Dr. Bernardini helped to develop a successful interventional sports, spine, and pain management practice in the south Denver area where he utilizes primarily minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat patients with chronic pain. While maintaining a busy schedule in his pain management practice, several years ago he began focusing his talents and energies on developing an aesthetics and wellness practice focused on providing safe, evidence-based cosmetic and medical aesthetic procedures.

When not working, Dr. Bernardini can be found spending quality time with his family including acting as referee between his two children, helping his wife facilitate a never-ending home renovation, and taking care of his three dogs, Bronco, Chewy, and Piper.

Tara

Medical Assistant

Tara is a dedicated Medical Assistant who enjoys helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and supported throughout their healthcare experience. She takes pride in being part of a team that helps people look and feel their best while creating a welcoming environment for every patient who walks through the door.
Outside of work, Tara is a devoted wife and proud mom of two. She and her family live on a small hobby farm where they enjoy the fun and adventure that comes with country living. Much of her free time is spent cheering on her kids at their soccer games and staying involved in their activities.
Tara and her husband also share a love of DC Comics, which inspired them to name their son Kal-El after Superman. Family, community, and a good sense of humor are at the heart of everything Tara does—both at home and at work.

Angela

Managing Director

Angela is our resident Italian fashionista and managing director. Her work experience spans the food and service industry and numerous positions in retail businesses. She grew up in Venice, Italy working at the family restaurant and bar on Via Giuseppe Garibaldi in addition to retail shops catering to international tourists. She met her future husband, Dr. Bernardini, while working as the assistant manager of the Base Exchange at Aviano Air Base, Italy where he was stationed as a US Air Force Flight Surgeon. After getting married and moving to Boston, MA, she worked as the director of visual merchandising at Ann Taylor in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA. Following a brief hiatus raising 2 wonderful children and supporting her husband through his various medical training programs and first couple of practices in Austin, TX and Virginia Beach, VA, she found herself drawn to the mountains of Colorado which reminded her of the Dolomites and Alps in northeastern Italy. She took on the role of managing director of New Age Aesthetics and Wellness in 2021, balancing that position and all its responsibilities with her love of extreme workouts, running, skiing, cooking, and spending time with family, friends, and her three dogs, Bronco, Chewy, and Piper.

Kathleen Rowland, RN, ND

Aesthetic Laser Specialist & Master Aesthetic Injector

Kathleen Rowland, RN, ND, is a highly experienced aesthetic provider with over 25 years of expertise in medical aesthetics. Throughout her career, she has helped thousands of patients achieve natural, refreshed, and confidence-boosting results through personalized treatment plans and advanced aesthetic techniques.

Kathleen specializes in cosmetic injectables, including Botox®, Dysport®, dermal fillers, Sculptra®, and Radiesse®, as well as advanced laser procedures such as CoolPeel®, BBL (BroadBand Light), laser skin resurfacing, and skin rejuvenation treatments. She is known for her artistic eye, gentle approach, and commitment to creating subtle, natural-looking enhancements that complement each patient’s unique features.

Her philosophy is centered on education, safety, and individualized care. Kathleen takes the time to understand each patient’s goals, ensuring that every treatment plan is tailored to deliver beautiful, balanced, and long-lasting results.

As the lead aesthetic provider at New Age Aesthetics & Wellness, Kathleen combines years of clinical expertise with the latest technologies to help patients look and feel their absolute best. Whether addressing signs of aging, improving skin quality, or enhancing facial features, her goal is to provide exceptional care in a warm, welcoming environment where beauty and wellness come together.

Jordan

Front Desk Lead

Jordan is the definition of a multitasker! As lead of our remote support team, she helps keep the office running smoothly behind the scenes and provides assistance wherever it’s needed. Her organization, efficiency, and problem-solving skills make her an essential part to the New Age team.

When she’s not working, Jordan’s number one priority is her son, Harrison. Jordan and her husband, whose name is also Jordan, enjoy spending quality time together as a family and making unforgettable memories!
