What to Expect
Your doctor will create a tailored treatment plan according to your unique skincare needs. Based on your skin concerns and their severity will determine what depth of chemical peel may be right for you.
During treatment, your skin will first be cleansed to remove any excess dirt and grim. From there, a chemical serum will be applied to the skin for several minutes, giving it time to absorb and soak into the skin. Then, a neutralizing agent will be applied to remove the chemical serum. Depending on your chemical peel, your skin will then be gently moisturized to add hydration back into the skin.
Expect your chemical peel to take about 30 to 60 minutes. Recovery time will vary depending on the type of chemical peel you get. Your skin will likely feel red and tight immediately following treatment, and you should experience peeling of your skin for about 3 to 5 days post-treatment.
