Who Is the Ideal Candidate
What to Expect
Expect the treatment to take anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes depending upon the treatment area. During treatment, your doctor will disinfect the treatment area and apply a local anesthetic to eliminate pain. Then, a small incision will be made and a cannula will be inserted into the incision.
Using the cannula, your doctor will insert the threads under the skin into their precise locations to successfully lift and support your sagging skin. Once the threads are securely put into place, the cannula will then be removed, leaving zero scarring. Depending on the treatment area and desired beauty goals, several sutures will be used, which will remain under the skin and gradually dissolve over time.
Recovery time is minimal. Many patients can resume their normal daily activities immediately after treatment. Slight swelling and bruising at the treatment area may occur but subside within 48 hours.
